This week at WBC Kids J.A.M we studied in Exodus 3 & 4. When God asks you to do something hard, what is your first inclination? Do you jump
right in and get to work on the task, or are you more like Moses and offer up excuses
as to why you cannot do what God asks?
As Moses offered his excuse, God offered His solution for each excuse. God had a
promise to keep to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and nothing, not even Moses’ excuses,
would keep God from fulfilling that promise. Just as God provided everything Moses
needed to complete the task he was given, God will provide everything you need to
complete the tasks He has set before you.
In this session, we helped kids focus on the fact that God hears us and is faithful to provide what we need as we need it. Lead them to understand that our response should be to worship God for hearing our cries and providing for our needs. Here are some discussion questions to have during your family time:
• How did God help Moses through
his doubts and fears? (God provided
miraculous signs to convince the people that
God had sent him. He allowed Aaron to go and
speak for Moses.)
• How does God help His people today?
• How can we respond to God when He
hears our prayers and provides for
our family

This week at WBC Kids J.A.M at Woodbine Baptist Church: Thousands of years before Jesus was born, a promise was made to Abraham. Jesus
was the fulfillment of the promise that was made so many generations earlier. Only
through Jesus can we have the peace, hope, and love that is the result of a personal
relationship with the God of the universe. The promised hope is not a one-time
experience, but extends into the future for all time.
So many things and people us let us down, but the hope that Jesus offers never
disappoints—it fills our hearts with His love. This session helps children see that Jesus is the promised seed of
Abraham, and through Him all people can have a relationship with God. This week we guided kids
to understand that all people who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior are
children of God. The family of God is not about an ethnic heritage, but about the
transformation of our hearts through faith in Jesus Christ.

What a night with our AWANA clubbers! We had a ginger bread house making competition. We had winners for first completed, club favorite (the cubbies won! 🥳) and which one best survived an earthquake from Mr. Mark Alexander ! Great night of fellowship & loads of sugar!!
