If you ask Dr. Max what it takes to heal the body, he’d give you 3 answers:

Time, Consistency, Motivation, and Tacos.🌮

OK that's 4 things, but in all seriousness, the first 3 are the most important! 😄

It takes TIME for the body to adapt and adjust. It takes years for the body to heal itself of damage it has sustained from day to day stressors.

It takes CONSISTENCY. Making it to every appointment, changing unhealthy habits, nourishing your body, and making sure that you are paying attention to how it communicates. You experience stress in your day to day life (mental, physical, and chemical stress). Without consistency, these stressors will continue to work against your healing body. So, in other words, if you aren't consistent, then you are just wasting time.

Most of all, it takes MOTIVATION!

Do you have something or someone motivating you?

If not, get one! Many people find it hardest to motivate themselves towards putting in the TIME to get healthy and become CONSISTENT to stay healthy. Having something to motivate yourself makes everything easier.

“Ask yourself if what you are doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow.”
