My late dog Ajax was a water-holic. He lived to swim more than I did. He would swim right alongside with me no matter what body of water we were in.

That dog taught me more lessons than I could even begin to list in this post. And one of the most important of them all was to always keep swimming. Yes Dory said that years later, but he said it first.

After closing my brick and mortar location, life has continued to to deliver a rollercoaster of changes. But I’m here for all of it. Still just swimming, navigating and surfing the waves of life and change.

In the spirit of Ajax, Dory, and just surfing the waves of life in general, I will be back in the Tahoe area this upcoming long weekend.

Every business loves a good review. But it means so much more when it’s a genuine testimony to the work. And it’s not for the reasons that you think. It’s not for more business.

Being in this line of work, believe it or not, isn’t rainbows and unicorns. There’s no salary, no benefits , etc. Many of us will tell you this path chose us. And yes we chose it, despite the challenges. Because at the end of the day we help change lives. Literally. That’s not some gimmick pitch. It’s the truth. And this review is proof of that.
