At its heart, Valentine’s Day is a gentle reminder
to express appreciation and connection. It was rooted in the idea that love is sacred, courageous, and sometimes even rebellious.
But beyond history and tradition, Valentine’s Day can be a quiet invitation:
* To soften instead of harden.
* To forgive instead of carry.
* To speak what we usually swallow.
* To offer tenderness where there has been tension.
And maybe most importantly —
to remember that love is not something we wait to receive.
It is something we practice.
In the way we speak to ourselves.
In the boundaries we honor.
In the rest we allow.
In the compassion we extend — even when we are tired.
Valentine’s Day can be less about proving love…
and more about returning to it.
