A huge thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Bombas Socks for another year of donations. Over the last few years, we have received over 30,000 Bombas Socks.

We provide these socks to the homeless people we see in so many of our programs. Clients in our long or short-term residential substance use treatment programs often come to treatment with nothing. Similarly, people or who suffer a mental health crisis often come to our Crisis Unit with no more than the clothes they have on.

We see so many children at our youth drop in center The Zone Drop-in Center who don't have a secure home environment and it's amazing what a simple pair of socks means to them.

The Zone is Four Rivers Behavioral Health's youth drop-in center. At risk youth come after school for help with homework, to play some games or just grab a snack.
Many of our youth struggle with food security and often lack even simple things like socks.

Today, on National Random Act of Kindness Day, we presented the first Be Kind Kentucky license plate check.

$1,000 was given to Four Rivers Behavioral Health in Paducah to support their youth mental health drop-in center.

All proceeds from the Be Kind Kentucky plate fund youth mental health drop-in centers across the Commonwealth. There are now 13 serving young people and families who need a safe place and support.

Additional checks are going out to centers across the state this week.

Kindness is the message. Youth mental health is the mission.
