✨FAMILY SPOTLIGHT✨

"My daughter, Belle, started speech and OT for over a year now, in Paducah. She loves going, and looks forward for it each week. She has started using what she learned, in everyday life when she’s trying to sound words out. Her brother, Aiden started not to long ago. He is also in speech and OT. In the beginning he didn’t want to go back without one of his parents, but now he has open up, and will go play. In the little time he has been there, he has started trying to say words. They are both are learning, and have started using what they have learn in their everyday life. They love showing off what they have learned."

Looking for a fun way to keep your child engaged while learning to read? Try the “Sight Word Splat” activity! All you need is a fly swatter and printed sight words.

Lay the words on the floor and call one out while your child “splats” the correct word. Make it extra fun by decorating the words like little flies. Turn it into a friendly competition by using two fly swatters and racing to find the word first!
