✨ Curious about the “Vampire Facial”? ✨

The vampire facial, or PRP (platelet-rich plasma) facial, uses your body’s own natural growth factors to rejuvenate your skin. This minimally invasive treatment can help improve skin tone, texture, and overall radiance—without surgery or synthetic fillers.

How does it work?
• A small amount of your blood is drawn and processed to concentrate the platelets.
• The PRP is then injected and applied topically to your face, combined with microneedling, to stimulate collagen production and promote healing.

Benefits may include:
• Smoother, firmer skin
• Reduced appearance of fine lines and acne scars
• Natural, gradual results

🌟 Struggling with Thinning Hair? Discover PRP Hair Restoration!

If you’re noticing hair thinning or early hair loss, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy may be the solution you’ve been looking for. PRP hair restoration is a cutting-edge, non-surgical treatment that uses your body’s own growth factors to stimulate hair follicles and promote natural hair regrowth.

How does it work?

• A small sample of your blood is processed to concentrate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors.
• The PRP is then injected into targeted areas of your scalp, where it helps activate dormant hair follicles and prolongs the growth phase of your hair.
• Finally, PRP is applied topically and microneedling is performed.

Benefits of PRP Hair Restoration:

• Uses your own natural growth factors—no medications or surgery required
• Can improve hair thickness and density
• Minimal downtime and virtually no risk of allergic reaction

PRP therapy is being used more and more for both men and women experiencing androgenetic alopecia (pattern hair loss), with growing evidence supporting its effectiveness.
Ready to take the next step toward fuller, healthier hair? Call HealthWorks Family and Sports Medicine at (270) 441-4777 to schedule your consultation!

Are you waking up with sharp heel pain in the morning? You might be dealing with plantar fasciitis—a common cause of foot pain, especially for runners, walkers, and those who spend long hours on their feet.

Plantar fasciitis occurs when the thick band of tissue (the plantar fascia) that supports your arch becomes irritated or inflamed. This can lead to stabbing pain, especially with your first steps of the day.

Common treatment options include:
• Stretching and strengthening exercises
• Supportive footwear or orthotics
• Ice and anti-inflammatory medications
• Activity modification to reduce strain
• Physical therapy
• Ultrasound-guided injections or nerve blocks for persistent pain

Don’t let heel pain slow you down!

Contact Dr. Andrew Kinchen at HealthWorks Family & Sports Medicine to discuss a personalized treatment plan and get back on your feet.
