Kyphoplasty is a procedure to treat vertebral compression fractures due to osteoporosis or trauma such as a car accident. This means the bony block in the spine collapses, which may cause extreme pain, deformity, and loss of height.

A Kyphoplasty procedure is a minimally invasive way to reduce pain and increase mobility, as most people can start getting back to their normal activities without restrictions.

After working six years in Pain Management in the Paducah area, I, Dr. J.T. Ruxer, DO am proud to announce our new practice in Paducah, KY, Elite Pain & Spine. I will be joined by a team of highly skilled practitioners including Leon Kehrer, APRN, Dustin Thompson, APRN, and Shane Taylor, APRN.

Our new office will be conveniently located just off Hinkleville Rd. behind Home Depot. We will begin seeing patients at the new location starting Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

We are committed to finding solutions for our patients suffering from both acute and chronic conditions, allowing them to increase their daily function and activity while decreasing pain. Our team offers several minimally invasive treatments including steroid injections, nerve blocks, nerve ablations, kyphoplasty and spinal cord stimulation.
