If you’re spending a few days at home, here are a few ways to take care of your mental health from your cozy corner:
•Keep a gentle rhythm. A simple routine—like waking up around the same time, making your bed, or setting aside quiet moments—can help your mind feel more grounded.
•Move your body in kind ways. Even stretching, walking around the house, or dancing to a favorite song can release stress.
•Let joy in, even in small ways. Try a new recipe, write something silly, or open the window and listen to the sounds outside.
•Reach out, don’t retreat. Whether it’s a friend, family member, or your therapist, connection is a healing force.
•Rest when you need to. It’s okay to pause. Your worth is not measured by your productivity. 💛

Last week, we had the chance to drop off a small token of appreciation to our local Sheriff’s Office and meet a few of the dedicated officers who serve McCracken County with such heart.

“We make the mistake that on Jan. 1 some magical change is going to happen. Real change is gradual, messy and not a straight line,” Klein said. “Sometimes when we try something different and that didn’t work the first time, that just teaches us to do something else the next time.”
