Joe received a Bachelorās Degree in Philosophy and a Masterās Degree in Counseling from the University of Kentucky before earning his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2009 from Indiana State University, which included a year-long internship at Rutgers University in New Jersey. As a licensed psychologist, he has experience treating a broad spectrum of mental health concerns while specializing in helping people who present with anxiety, grief, adjustment, existential difficulties, or menās issues, as well as those seeking relationship or marriage counseling.
Joe has been in private practice since 2022. Earlier in his career, he worked at a community mental health center before transitioning to a college counseling center and serving in the role of Training Director, working both directly with clients and overseeing the work of future counselors and psychologists. Since Joe spent years teaching and supervising therapists, he feels comfortable and competent with a wide range of perspectives, situations, and issues that occur in therapy. Whether you are searching for solutions, relief, or understanding, he is familiar with an array of therapeutic approaches to customize a plan for you that makes a meaningful difference and maximizes results.
