Compass Counseling of Owensboro would like to introduce  Shana Fulkerson, CSW. 🎉🎉🎉
Shana is a Kentucky Board-Certified Social Worker, who earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Western Kentucky University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky. She also completed a specialized certificate in Clinical Social Work Practice at the University of Kentucky.
Shana provides mental health counseling to individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds using a client-centered, holistic approach. She strives to create a welcoming space where clients feel safe, supported, and heard. Shana utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to meet clients where they are and guide them toward achievable solutions that promote meaningful, sustainable change.

John works with men and boys ages 13 and up, as well as women ages 18 and up supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, mood disorders, ADHD and addiction.
John believes “Therapy works best when it’s built on trust, collaboration, and a genuine human connection.”
Spending time with his family, cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals and the University of Illinois, hunting, fishing and hiking is how John maintains balance and connection.

Ashley holds a Master’s degree in General Psychology and an Ed.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Murray State University.
Ashley works with clients ages 16 and up, supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, and life transitions.

With locations in Paducah, Henderson, Owensboro, and Lewisport, Kentucky we are honored to serve our clients by offering high quality counseling in a comfortable setting. We can also provide counseling to residents anywhere in Kentucky through online counseling.
