Crystal Faith Wellness Yoga Teacher. Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga Teacher. Birth Doula. Postpartum Doula. Menstrual Cycle Guide. I have been surrounded by yoga most of my life. Namaste

My Mother has been a yoga teacher for over 20 years. I was not only exposed to the physical practice of yoga at very young age, but I have been fortunate enough to grow up with the lifestyle of yoga off the mat. Three years ago, I attended the Bhaktifest Yoga & Music Festival with my family. I left Bhaktifest feeling an overwhelming amount of bliss and inspiration. I knew I was ready and destined to become a leader; a teacher of yoga. I had deeply embraced the true meaning of yoga in my own mind, body, and heart. The most profound benefit of my personal yoga practice has been a deeper and more honest relationship with myself. I aim to bring healing and inspiration to my students through yoga. I am trained in Kripalu yoga; a practice of transformation through compassion, self-acceptance, honesty and relaxation. I trust that through a consistent yoga practice, great gains are possible in every aspect of life. With a background in dance, I offer classes that are gracefully empowering while also gently nurturing to the spirit. Come practice with me as we connect to the power of our truth and enjoy the bliss of life!

✨ My pregnancy journey was a deep & wild ride, profoundly beautiful & hard, rewarding & magical & monumentally emotional. I experienced challenges ~ fears of loss, p***c symphosis pain, so much heartburn ❤️‍🔥, and many many emotional ups and downs. I experienced living in two realities ~ one in which I was living “normal life” and one in which I was in the world of slowness, creation, oneness with my baby‘s spirit. It is a miracle to create and carry the body of my baby’s soul. Every moment of pregnancy is massive growth, for baby and mama. It is surreal and also the most real. Surrender begins in pregnancy as the body completely transforms ~ maiden to mother ~ the process of change permeated into every cell of my being. Motherhood took over. I will never be the same & I am so grateful ✨

The menstrual phase of the cycle (bleeding time) is one of ƈʟɛǟռֆɨռɢ & ʀɛʟɛǟֆɨռɢ.

Physically, the uterine lining from the previous cycle is being shed. Your body is going through a lot at this time and it’s super important to rest (as much as you can).

It can be a very difficult time on many levels for women (it has been for me at times), and ɨȶ ƈǟռ ǟʟֆօ ɮɛ ɛզʊǟʟʟʏ քօաɛʀʄʊʟ.

Menstruation can be an intentional time of ƈʟɛǟռֆɨռɢ & ʀɛʟɛǟֆɨռɢ on an emotional, energetic, and spiritual level. It is said that women are most ɨռȶʊɨȶɨʋɛ ǟռɖ ʀɛƈɛքȶɨʋɛ during their bleeding time.

𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. Take advantage of this slower, more inward energy to tap into anything that may be stuck or stagnant in your system. Don’t force yourself to release/work on something that isn’t ready, but be aware of anything that’s coming to the surface at this time.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓.

Some ideas:

🩸 Honoring & Feeling into a pregnancy loss (past miscarriage or abortion) - I did this during my last period and it was very emotional & profound.
🩸Sitting with a big life decision
🩸Being with any specific, residual hurt from a past relationship (romantic or non- romantic)
🩸Writing a letter to someone who you need to share your truth with (even if you don’t send the letter)
🩸Setting specific intentions for the next, new cycle

In our busy, everyday lives, it can be hard to truly sit with and move through the unresolved emotions and experiences that we can accumulate as human beings.

ȶɦɛ ʍɛռֆȶʀʊǟʟ ȶɨʍɛ ƈǟռ ɮɛ ʊֆɛɖ ǟֆ ǟ ȶօօʟ, օʀ ɛʋɛռ ǟ ɢɨʄȶ. Even if you only take a few minutes on one day of your period, try tapping into something you have been avoiding or feeling too busy to think about/feel into. Explore taking advantage of the natural shift in your being to truly be with yourself.

ʍօȶɦɛʀ ɮʟɛֆֆɨռɢ ❣️

Until a few years ago, I had never heard of a ßlꧧïñg Wå¥ Çêrêmðñ¥. I had heard of Baby Showers,of course, but the sacred Blessing Way is so very different and has become so special to me.

I wish for every woman to have a ßlꧧïñg Wå¥ Çêrêmðñ¥. We all deserve it! It is a ceremony to honor the mother as she prepares for the transformation of birth. It is an honoring of her journey of womanhood, motherhood, and her spiritual/emotional/physical/ energetic/mental journey through the powerful portal of birth.

She is held and witnessed by sisters, mothers, and grandmothers as she begins the initiation of birthing herself into a new woman. Every Blessing Way is different and there are so many creative and nourishing ways to celebrate the mother.

I had the honor of participating in my client’s ßlꧧïñg Wå¥ Çêrêmðñ¥ a couple days ago 🌱

✨ I lead a ♥️ heart & womb ♥️ opening meditation
✨ I guided a small ritual to release fears 🕊
✨ I spoke to the symbology of fire as we all made and lit candles for the mother❤️‍🔥

We also made:

🦋Birthing affirmations to hang in the labor room
🦋 Herbal sachets for postpartum sitz baths

🦋 and we enjoyed singing sweet songs while creating henna art on her beautiful belly 💖

Every woman deserves to be acknowledged during times of transition. The change from maidenhood to motherhood is enormous and so worthy of celebration and support. Let’s keep holding space for women and mothers! (And I am totally in support of Father Blessing Way ceremonies as well!)

The way we do or don’t support mothers changes the future of our world 🌍 🌸

Today, we celebrated my dad, Juan, by going to pohoiki beach park for our very own disc golf tournament! We had so much fun with so many good laughs! 🤣

Happy Fathers Day, John Juan!💕

(Side note- it was quite windy, so the audio isn’t the best… but it’s definitely worth watching through to the end!)
