BELATED CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Linnea Siniaho (Nea Sin). She passed the LADC written exam Saturday. Upon completion of the oral boards exam in a couple months, she will be Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Nevada. About 7 months ago, Linnea became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. All of us at Living Free Health, Living Free Cafe and Living Free Gym are so proud of her hard work and dedication. It feels like yesterday (Fall 2021) she came to Living Free, where we accepted her, as we have many others, to complete her university Masters practicum requirements. She is the brightest example of the commitment Living Free has made in Pahrump - supporting the practical educational requirements of Masters, Undergraduate and Associates’ degree programs. Linnea will be a featured speaker at the 4th Annual Art for Recovery charity dinner auction fundraiser March 14th. For seven years and counting, Living Free Health has been not just providing treatment, supportive housing, workforce development and wrap-around services, we have been actively supporting the development of more local mental health licensed individuals to help address the significant needs of our community. We have high hopes that our current two students will be as successful and positively impactful as Linnea has been and is for Pahrump.
