Product Spotlight: Good Clean Love L**e! ✨

Did you know that using a high-quality, body-safe lubricant isn’t just for intimacy? Lubrication can help reduce friction and tension, which supports pelvic floor relaxation, eases discomfort during daily activities, and makes self-care routines like pelvic floor exercises or using devices more comfortable.
Good Clean Love is made with natural, non-toxic ingredients, free from parabens, glycerin, and artificial chemicals. That means it’s gentle on sensitive tissue, safe to use with pelvic health tools, and perfect for anyone looking to enhance comfort and overall pelvic wellness.
Adding a little l**e during your self-care routine can help your body relax, reduce strain, and make everyday movements feel smoother. Your pelvic floor will thank you!

Well, it was a totally normal Friday afternoon when I decided to take a casual zipline trip across the office. And shocker I fell right on my behind. Embarrassing? Absolutely. I tried to laugh it off, but the pain and tightness were not letting it go.

Lucky for me, I “work ” (like I do any actual work) in a physical therapy clinic. So I took a very slow (because… OW) stroll over to Maria’s room and asked what she could do. That’s when she suggested dry needling.

Here’s what I learned: dry needling is a gentle technique that uses a thin needle to target tight or overworked muscles. It helps release tension, reduce pain, and improve how you move.

Fast-forward, and I’m back to my usual shenanigans, I mean, work. Definitely work. 😉

That’s all for now, folks.
Tinsel Tinkler, signing off… for now! 🎄✨

When we speak to women, we commonly hear about their struggle with bladder leakage, and many accept it as ‘normal’ after giving birth or simply as they get older. What surprises them is that while it’s often normalized, it doesn’t have to be their reality.
Pelvic floor therapy can help:
✅ Strengthen and coordinate your pelvic muscles
✅ Reduce leaks and improve bladder control
✅ Restore confidence in daily life, exercise, and intimacy
Living with bladder leakage isn’t something you should just ‘deal with.’ With the right guidance and exercises, relief is possible and life can feel a lot more comfortable.
Your pelvic floor works hard for you every day! Let’s give it the care it deserves!

Happy Self-Care Sunday! 🌿 Today, we’re talking about intentional breathing, a simple but powerful way to help your pelvic floor relax and function better, while also taking a moment to calm down your mind.

Here’s how to do it:
1️⃣ Find a comfortable position- lie on your back, sit tall, or even stand. Relax your shoulders.
2️⃣ Place your hands on your belly and lower ribs so you can feel your breath.
3️⃣ Inhale deeply through your nose, letting your belly rise and gently expand your ribs in all directions (to the front, back, and sides). Imagine your pelvic floor softening and lengthening as you fill your lungs.
4️⃣ Exhale slowly through your mouth, allowing your pelvic floor to return to its resting position and your body to fully relax.
5️⃣ Repeat 5–10 times, focusing on slow, full, intentional breaths.

This simple practice can help reduce tension, improve pelvic floor coordination, and even support core stability. Bonus: it’s also amazing for stress relief during this holiday season!
If you feel like you struggle taking a full deep breath, it's ok, you may need some help. Many pelvic floor issues also have impaired breathing mechanics as part of their cause. Breathing is so much more than just in your belly and we can help you. ✨
Try adding this into your Sunday (or any day!) self-care routine, your pelvic floor will thank you. 💛

Hello everyone, I am Miss Tinsel Tinkler the elf, the newest member of the KPH team! Kari hired me to bring some festive fun to the clinic. She said she wanted things chill, and I nodded like I totally understood the assignment.

But let’s be honest… I’m an elf. Chill is not in my DNA. So you never know what you’ll find me doing around here, testing out pelvic floor gadgets, getting tangled in therapy bands, or launching myself off the trampoline in the name of holiday spirit.

Also I may or may not have ‘borrowed’ the social media passwords. So if you see some suspiciously chaotic posts over on our feed, mind your business and enjoy the show.

Anyway, if anyone needs me, I’ll be in the clinic… probably doing something I’m not supposed to. 🎄😈
