🌟Apex Pediatric Therapy Services – Spotlight of the Month: Camille, RBT 🌟

This month, we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on Camille, one of our exceptional Registered Behavior Technicians who has been a valued member of the Apex Pediatric Therapy Services team for over a year.

From the moment Camille joined us, her warmth, dedication, and natural talent for working with children have made a meaningful impact on our clients and our team. Her journey into the field began during an internship with a caseworker in Behavioral Health Care. Through that experience, she discovered her passion for supporting children and families and realized she wanted to find her niche within the field. That path led her to Applied Behavior Analysis—where she has truly found her stride.

Camille brings compassion, patience, creativity, and professionalism to every session. Her thoughtful approach and ability to connect with clients make her an outstanding RBT and a joy to work with. Whether she’s celebrating a child’s milestone or offering a word of encouragement to a colleague, Camille consistently goes above and beyond.

We are grateful for her dedication and proud of the impact she continues to make each day.

🎃 Happy Spooky Season! 👻
Last week, our amazing Office Manager Jimmy and Authorization Coordinator Victoria from our Colorado office joined the Trunk-or-Treat Fundraising Event hosted by Autism Vision of Colorado! 💙
This sensory-friendly celebration welcomed participants of all ages and abilities — and it was such a treat to see everyone’s creativity shine! From festive costumes and decorated trunks to a bounce house, face painting, a balloon artist, and even a food truck, there was fun for everyone. 🍬🎈🍔
We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make this event possible and to Autism Vision of Colorado for creating such an inclusive, joy-filled experience for the community. 🧡

This Thursday, we’re taking a moment to look back on an incredible event we had the pleasure of attending in September — the 23rd Annual Ride for Autism! 🏍💙

Our amazing Intake Coordinator, Margaret, had an unforgettable time connecting with families, organizations, and community members throughout the day. It was truly inspiring to see everyone come together to celebrate, support, and raise awareness for the Autism community.

We’re thrilled to announce the official opening of our new office in Colorado Springs, Colorado! Expanding beyond Illinois, we’re excited to bring our expertise and compassionate care to even more families.

To kick things off, our amazing Colorado team had the honor of participating in the first annual Walk for Autism, hosted by the Autism Society of Colorado. It was an inspiring day connecting with families, advocates, and organizations all working together to build a more inclusive world.

Happy Friday! In honor of the long weekend, we are doing a to the Autism Acceptance Celebration we attended in April! It was amazing getting to meet the community in Elgin and seeing all the wonderful families that joined! Our onboarding and clinical team got to connect with a wide variety of families to discuss the importance of spreading awareness in the community and providing necessary services to ensure the best life for those who need it most!

Thank you to all the families that came out to the Superhero Fun Run at Wheaton Park District this past weekend! We had a blast getting to talk with those who attended and getting to see the AMAZING superheroes that flew in! Nothing warms our hearts more than seeing all the smiles on every kiddo’s face and seeing everyone have an opportunity to compete and have FUN!
