Help us fill our box! 📦 Comfort Closet is a People Helping People initiative designed to ensure that students in area high schools have dignified access to clothing, food, and self-care items within their schools. School wishlists and student support are facilitated by school counselors and social workers.

Community members can participate by dropping off donations in the collection box at our office from now through November 7th. Thank you for your support! ❤️

The 20-20-20 rule is so important! It’s something that we educate our patients on every day! 👀 At your annual eye examination we will discuss this and other important tips to keep your eyes healthy and your vision strong! 🤓

Your screen is hijacking your nervous system – but there’s a simple antidote.

When you stare at screens for hours, your ciliary muscles lock into constant near-focus mode, your blink rate decreases, and your tear film becomes unstable. This creates a cascade of muscle tension that travels from your eyes to your neck, shoulders, and beyond.

The 20-20-20 rule works because it forces your focusing muscles to relax and reset. Looking at distant objects shifts your eyes from accommodative stress to a more natural, relaxed state – the same position they’d be in if you were looking at a horizon.
