Our Christmas Wreath distribution is officially complete! Thank you to everyone who braved the snow, cold, and wind and to those who took time out of their day to help deliver wreaths to some parishioners.

I also bought a few extra wreaths… and thanks to the terrible weather, only one brave soul actually bought one. So now I have a small group of lonely, unsold wreaths staring at me like puppies at the shelter.

If you—or someone you know—would like to give one of these wreaths a loving Christmas home let me know by replying to this email. First come, first serve. Here is the list of what is available:
• Two 25" Wreaths ($32 each)
• One 30" Wreath ($38)
• One Centerpiece ($41)

Christmas is almost here, and it’s time to spread some holiday cheer — one wreath at a time!

We will be distributing Christmas Wreaths at St Theresa before and after all Masses on Nov. 29 & 30. We also need volunteers to help deliver wreaths to the St Thomas parishioners’ homes. A quick delivery and a friendly greeting can bring a little extra Christmas joy to those who need it.

We will be set up in the St. Theresa garage located on the south side of the Dolan Center, across from the Reception area. Please stop by there to help set up and hand them out. Any time you can give is truly appreciated!

If you can help, please reply to stevet.kofc4977@gmail.com and let me know. Your time, spirit, and willingness to serve makes a big difference!

We need your help this coming weekend (Nov. 15/16) with Advent Calendar sales at both Parishes -- before and after all Masses on Saturday and Sunday.

This is a great opportunity to support our Council and connect with parishioners as we prepare for the Advent season. Even if you can cover just one Mass, it would be a big help!

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our Council.

First, a big thank you to everyone who helped last weekend at St. Theresa! We had a great turnout of Brother Knights, and your efforts truly paid off. The Tootsie Roll Drive was a huge success, bringing in over $3,500, and we also received many new Christmas Wreath orders.

In addition, we had the chance to talk with many parishioners about joining our Council and handed out plenty of membership packets. Hopefully, those seeds will grow into new Knights for our Council!

Let’s keep the momentum going as we continue our Membership Drive, Tootsie Roll, and Christmas Wreath Sales this weekend at St. Thomas.

We’re looking for volunteers to help before and after each Mass—let’s do it again!

Mass Times:
• Saturday: 5:00 PM
• Sunday (English): 7:15 AM and 10:00 AM
• Sunday (Polish): 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM

Even if you can only help at one Mass, your presence makes a big difference. Please reply to this email and let us know which Mass you can cover.

Let’s show the St. Thomas community what the Knights of Columbus are all about—serving our community through our faith!

Christmas wreath order form!

10/12/2025

It’s that wonderful time of year again! Our annual Christmas Wreath Sale is underway.

To help reduce expenses this year, order forms will not be mailed to Brother Knights. Instead, the order form is attached to this email, and printed copies will be available at all Council meetings and events throughout the next month. Non-Knights will continue to receive their forms by mail.

Please be sure to grab a form and place your order as soon as you can. Prices remain the same as they were last year. This is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit while helping our Council raise funds to support the many worthy causes and charitable works we do throughout the year.

Thank you for your continued generosity and support.

The Tootsie Rolls have arrived and are ready to be handed out! This means we are now equipped to begin the Intellectual Disability (“ID”) Drive Corporate Sales Program to expand our reach in helping the special needs individuals. This program is in addition to the ID, or “Tootsie Roll,” Drive on the streets and stores of Palatine. Through the Corporate Sales Program we ask local businesses for donations to this worthy cause.

Now we need volunteers to help contact and visit local businesses for donations. We are seeking to get $100 or more in donations from local businesses. For a $100 or more donation, they may receive a case of 300 Tootsie Rolls and a display basket.

Please consider volunteering to help out with this worthy cause. We have six volunteers to date. The more we get the greater the impact we can make to help those special needs individuals.

If you cannot help out with this program, but would like to donate to this worthy cause, you may send or deliver a check, payable to “Knights of Columbus Council 4977,” to my attention at the below address. You may also pay online via credit or debit card using the QR Code on the attached tax deduction letter.

If you can help out, please contact me. I plan on sending out marketing materials to all volunteers early next week.
Thank you for your consideration!
