April is Alcohol Awareness Month.
Its purpose is simple: to increase understanding about how alcohol affects our health, our relationships, and our daily lives.
It’s about learning the signs of unhealthy use, recognizing when patterns may be shifting, and understanding that alcohol can impact people differently, sometimes gradually, and without clear warning.
This month also helps reduce stigma, making it easier for people to talk openly, ask questions, and seek support if they need it.
Because awareness isn’t about labeling or judging, it’s about being informed, paying attention, and making choices with clarity. If this resonates with you or someone you care about, take a moment to check in, start a conversation, or reach out for support. Awareness is the first step.
