We are greatly grieved to announce the death of Mary Ellen Brookins.
She passed peacefully Saturday, August 9, 2025 in Palatka, Florida.
Mary is proceeded in death by her parents, James Esmond and Tommy Lou Brookins, brother Buster Brookins and children John Jason Coleman Jordan Coleman
Mary is proceeded in Life by her brother Robert sister Chris grandchildren Starr Renée Coleman and John Nathaniel Coleman great grand Bentley Mitchell McGuire
Mary, beloved grandmother and friend to many was born of West Bay Florida November 30, 1953.
Mary loved her family endlessly. She was known for her generous, loving and kind soul. Mary was a well read woman who loved art, nature, horses, and everything beautiful.
She will be greatly missed by her friends, family, and especially by her granddaughter Starr, grandson Nathan, and great grandson Bentley
You will forever be in our hearts, Mary Brookins.
Celebration of life will be held at Interlachen Methodist Church, August 31st,2025 at 3pm.
