Teri Ciocco, 500E-RYT/YACEP
My natural interest is a blend of science, metaphysics, and yoga philosophy. I've been happy to teach yoga at the Palisade Community Center for a while!
Living in a small community has been a blessing with many opportunities. Here are some of the things I’ve done:
*Fun yoga, Wine and yoga, celebrations and club meetings.
*Large group classes: CAMLE conference, Palisade Bluegrass festival, Colorado Education Associate yogi to the teachers, Financial Officers Assoc. event.
*Specialty workshops: Meditation, beginning yoga, Chakra classes, Pranayama introduction, and restorative yoga.
*Children’s classes: Daily classes with middle school students at Orchard Mesa Middle school. Mindfulness, habits of mind, growth mindset, yoga philosophy, and meditation are taught with the asanas.
*School district 51 classes: in Mindfulness in education, Growth mindset, and stress reduction.
I also have a home yoga studio (Earthlingyoga.com) and run a small 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified yoga teacher training. I aim to help other yoga teachers open home studios.
I’ve also begun a business to support other yoga teachers, studio owners, and yoga teacher trainers. It’s called YogisPayYogi.com.

Teaching dance and directing a dance troupe, the Figure 8’s in Boulder for 25 years, she is passionate about movement and alignment and helping facilitate anyone and everyone to feel more comfortable in their skin, in their one and only unique, sacred vessel. Available for privates.
Demi Garner, RYT-500
Demi believes that health and happiness are within everyone’s reach. Her personalized approach to yoga and wellness guides people through a process that helps them discover how to enhance their physical and emotional health and to truly enjoy life to the fullest!
In 1994, Demi found yoga in a hospital waiting room while her father was undergoing spinal surgery. After experiencing 10 minutes of yoga, she felt calm and peaceful, realizing that this was something very powerful. She began to practice yoga regularly and has since reaped the rewards of this amazing practice.
Yoga and Ayurveda have helped her to survive and thrive through some of life’s greatest challenges, including breast cancer and the death of her husband. She enjoys guiding others as they work through the difficulties in their lives and onto their paths towards wellness.
Demi is a natural teacher with a degree in Education and 30 years teaching in the public schools. She has practiced yoga since that day in the hospital 26 years ago and has taught yoga for 16 years. Demi draws from her training in Parayoga, Ayurveda, and Anusara Yoga and is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level. She is so grateful for her teachers and their wisdom and ability to impart their knowledge and skill. Among them are Yogarupa Rod Stryker, Cate Stillman, and Dr. Claudia Welch.
In addition to teaching at the Palisade Community Center, she teaches classes at the Community Centers of Collbran and Mesa and offers workshops and private sessions.
