Honoring Native American Heritage Month:
Our Shared Ancestry Lives On

This November, Boricuas Distinguidos 2.0 celebrates Native American Heritage Month — a time to honor the first guardians of this hemisphere, whose spirit, wisdom, and resilience live on in our veins.

We, the Boricuas, carry that legacy proudly through our Taíno ancestors, who, like their relatives across the Americas, stood as defenders of land, sky, and dignity. Their traditions still whisper in our language, echo in our ceremonies, and breathe through every act of resistance and creation on our island.

To honor Native American Heritage Month is to remember that the story of Borikén is inseparable from the broader Native story — one of unity, survival, and rebirth. Our struggle for sovereignty continues that ancient song.

Honrando el Mes de la Herencia Nativa Americana:
Nuestra Sangre, Su Legado
