Our Story...
Drs. Heather and Kevin Sorensen began practicing together 23 years ago in Ohio. Cold weather finally got to Dr. H so they moved to Florida and commuted to their practice in Ohio for 4 years. By chance, the Doctors found out about Dr. Cobb’s desire to slow down and are taking over Brevard Vision Associates, renaming it Coastal VisionCare, since multiple eyecare offices have similar names. The Drs. Sorensen practice not only general and medical optometry but also have been offering Orthokeratology as an option for vision correction and a means to slow myopic progression for over a decade. Although it has been difficult to say good-bye to all our patients in Ohio, we are looking forward to meeting our new patients in Florida and bringing our philosophy of working with our patients as a TEAM to provide the best eyecare YOU deserve!
