Both an upper eyelid blepharoplasty and a brow lift can refresh the eye area — but they address different concerns.
Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty
You may be a good candidate if you have:
· Extra skin on the upper eyelids
· A heavy or “hooded” upper lid
· Loss of a smooth eyelid crease
This procedure removes excess skin and tissue to create a cleaner, more youthful upper lid.
Brow Lift
You may be a better candidate if your concerns come from the brow itself drifting downward, which can:
· Make the upper lids look heavy
· Create deeper forehead wrinkles
· Cause the brows to look tired or saggy
A brow lift repositions the brows to a more lifted, youthful position.
When Both Are Ideal
Because aging can affect both the eyelid skin and the brow position, many people benefit most from combining the two procedures. This helps achieve a natural, balanced, and refreshed look.
