In addition to Board Certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Obstetrics & Gynecology, I have spent thousands of hours beyond residency in training, collaborative work and preceptorships with highly respected, experienced pelvic reconstructive surgeons. An active member of the American Urogynecological Society, I regularly participate in Continuing Education opportunities to be able to offer the most current information and treatment options to my patients.

Pelvic Health is Whole Body Health. Visit my sister page, Ultra Health & Wellness for more, I tend to cross post because I have more followers on this page, but there is a lot to share to improve everyone's health! I am so happy about the FDA updates to estrogen labeling. Now if we can get a testosterone product approved for women, that would be fantastic!

It’s about time!! The FDA has announced they are removing the black box warning from estrogen products. So many of my patients and friends have been scared off of hormones when we know that the evidence is overwhelmingly positive for hormone replacement. Let’s hope the next generation of women will be able to take advantage of the science!

I just returned from the World Peptide Congress 2025. It was so exciting to see how many of us are fed up with traditional medical models and want to be able to treat our patients as individuals, identifying the root cause of their problems and providing customized workable solutions to achieve a better quality of life! Because there is so much to learn and so much to teach, I'll be posting digestible bits of information on this page to help you all work on that.

I've been saying this for years. Glad we have research to support this! Stay away from the bubbles, the artificial sweeteners, and the other irritants! Water is best!

| Bad news for Diet Coke lovers? This study shows that urgency incontinence (not being able to get to the toilet in time) was associated with intake of caffeinated, carbonated, and citrus beverages and high-acid foods. If you find yourself running to the bathroom; water is best!

One of the most exciting additions to my therapeutic armamentarium has been knowledge and use of peptide therapy. I recently completed recertification (94% on the exam score) and am happy to be able to use this knowledge to better help my patients. Precision medicine is not just a dream for the future, it is now!

The future is now. Genomic medicine is here.

What does “holistic Urogynecology” mean? It is a philosophy, trying to find the least invasive, most comprehensive answer to pelvic problems. It means working on improving GI function, repairing the gut, the body’s energy producing mechanisms, optimizing sleep, and correcting structural problems using the body’s wisdom and the proper training to achieve better and lasting results.
