I work with college students looking to go into medicine, medical students and orthopedic residents to advance the science of orthopedic surgery through research and education. Our research team could use your financial support. We have just gone through the extensive process of getting approved as a 501c(3) nonprofit. Our non-profit is called the Palm Beach Research and Education Foundation. We have around $2M in unfunded research plans and are excited about next steps. Check us out, and help us out if you can!

It’s been a hectic few weeks and happy to be back home.

It started as being part of th faculty at the Pinnacle Shoulder meeting in Oregon which was a great focused educational program in a gorgeous location.

Then over to the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons meeting in San Diego where I was honored to give a talk on the importance on tips and tricks for revision shoulder replacement surgery and entered the Neer Circle.

We just got home from the AOAO (the DO Orthopedic Society) where I was honored to receive the Presidents award for contributions to the profession, and got to celebrate with family.

Happy to be home. Back to the office tomorrow!!

It’s amazing that this journey to narcotic-free shoulder surgery started almost a decade ago for me. Now it’s almost taken for granted that the vast majority of my patients do not use narcotics postop. We have come a long way!
