🎧 Just listened to a great NY Times podcast on the protein craze - and it got me thinking…

The protein craze concerns me as excessive intake may strain kidneys or cause digestive issues. Most people get enough protein and instead of an extreme protein focus, a healthier goal would be more whole foods - lean meats, fish, beans , nuts, and seeds - not bars and shakes that came out of the chemist’s lab.
