💚 Parent Tip of the Day!

Does your child ever resist transitions, like cleaning up toys, finishing dinner, or brushing their teeth? 😅 You’re not alone! One simple ABA tool that helps is the First–Then strategy.

✨ Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Tell your child what needs to be done first.
2️⃣ Then, follow it with what comes next — usually something fun, rewarding, or motivating.

👉 For example:
💜 First homework → Then video game 🎮
💜 First brush teeth → Then story time 📖
💜 First clean up toys → Then playground 🌳

Why it works: Kids understand what’s expected and see the reward coming. This reduces power struggles and makes routines smoother. 🧩

✨ Save this post so you can use our First–Then chart template at home!
And let us know in the comments what “First–Then” combo works best for your family ⬇️
