Headaches occur as a result of everyday practices such as skipping meals, failure to get enough sleep, or even excessive use of caffeine.

The common types of headaches are tension headaches, cluster headaches and migraine.

If you are experience tension headaches, it could be an indication of stress.

Migraine could be caused by exposure to chemicals. Women are also three times more likely to develop migraine than men. People with post-traumatic stress disorder also have an increased risk for migraine.

Do you have trouble falling asleep? Don’t worry as you are not alone. Here are our tips to ensure you enjoy a restful sleep:

Don’t read from a backlit device at night (such as an iPad). If you use a portable electronic device to read, use an eReader that requires an additional light source.
Make sure your bedroom is quiet, dark, and cool, and your bed is comfortable. We often become more sensitive to noise as we age, and light and heat can also cause sleep problems. Using a sound machine, ear plugs, or a sleep mask can help.
Use your bedroom only for sleep and s*x. By not working, watching TV, or using your computer in bed, your brain will associate the bedroom with just sleep and s*x.
