Our team of board-certified plastic surgeons and health care professionals offer the latest treatments for beauty and aesthetic enhancements. The Cosmetic Surgery Institute takes pride in making our patients feel comfortable at our Palm Desert plastic surgery practice serving Palm Springs and Riverside. The relaxed atmosphere and tropical décor soothe the mind and the eyes as our patients and clients enter the front office. The office is then divided into a surgical area and a medical spa that includes two aesthetician treatment rooms, makeup artistry and laser treatment rooms, as well as our consultation rooms. We have taken great care to ensure our consultation rooms and injection rooms are warm and inviting with understated elegance. Our goal is simply to pamper our patients and clients in comfort. Safety is just as important as comfort at the Cosmetic Surgery Institute. The surgical segment of our building houses state-of-the-art surgical suites and a spacious and comfortable recovery room and postoperative room. Our surgical facility not only meets, but exceeds, community and state safety standards. We are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care with recommendations to become Medicare Certified because our safety standards were deemed equivalent to that of hospitals. The operating room staff is a team of full-time individuals including a technician, quality control nurse, and anesthetist. Their experience and skill further reduce the risk of complications for our patients. Cosmetic Surgery Institute is also distinguished by the many safety protocols we have built-in to the practice. Two important examples include transfer agreements with local hospitals in case of emergencies and the use of TIVA or "Total IV Anesthesia," which allows our patients to wake up rapidly without nausea and with minimal side effects.
