Exciting News! This past weekend, Desert Arc participated in the 30th Annual Gubler Orchid Festival celebrating 50 years of Gubler Orchids in the desert! It was a weekend filled with stunning orchids, vibrant community spirit, and incredible local vendors. Lots of people stopped by our booth to learn more about the amazing work we do at Desert Arc.

Thank you to the awesome Yucca Valley team for sharing the good news of Desert Arc with our friends from the Morongo Basin community. Throughout the weekend, Rotary International gave guests the opportunity to raise money for their favorite local charities by dropping “Rotary Bucks” into designated cans. Desert Arc not only won $100 for the best designed Rotary Buck can, we also received LOTS of bucks to help with the amazing work we do. Thanks to Gubler Orchids and The Sunset Rotary Club for hosting this wonderful community event!

Desert Arc is honored to receive a generous $2,500 donation from the Palm Desert Rotary Club in support of our Community Connections program.

This contribution will help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities engage with the community, build relationships, and participate in enriching activities that promote inclusion and independence.

Through Community Connections, Desert Arc clients gain valuable life and social skills, preparing them to advance toward meaningful employment opportunities. Rotary’s support ensures more individuals can achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential.
