4 ways to keep your bones strong & healthy:

1️⃣ Get enough calcium.
Adults 19–50 (and men up to 70) need about 1,000 mg daily. Women 51+ & men 71+ should aim for 1,200 mg. Sources: supplements, dairy, almonds, broccoli, kale, canned salmon, & tofu.
2️⃣ Don’t skip vitamin D.
Your body needs it to absorb calcium. Aim for 600 IU daily (800 IU if over 70). Sunlight, fortified foods, supplements, & oily fish like salmon & tuna are great sources.
3️⃣ Stay active.
Weight-bearing activities like walking, jogging, & climbing stairs help strengthen bones & slow bone loss.
4️⃣ Avoid unhealthy habits.
Smoking & excessive alcohol can weaken bones over time—keep them strong by keeping those habits in check.
