Pre-diabetes is not pre disease, it is a sign of metabolic dysfunction. You can turn it around 1. whole food based diet
2. increasing muscle mass (soaks up extra glucose)
3. Stress reduction (cortisol increases blood sugar)
4. Addressing any nutrient deficiencies (vit d, magnesium, b vitamins, chromium, etc impacts bg)
5. Syncing circadian rhythm going to bed/waking at same time daily

Love a good soup!

I do not say this lightly.
This is hands down my favorite soup I have ever made. And I have made a lot of soup.
This one is cozy, creamy, deeply comforting, and then the saffron comes in and completely changes the game. Like… I cannot even explain it. It is warm and rich and almost fancy tasting in a way that makes no sense for how simple it is.
This is the kind of soup you make once and then think about randomly for weeks after. The kind you eat straight out of the pot and immediately send the recipe to someone you love.
It is hearty, filling, packed with lentils and potatoes, and somehow still feels light.
You honestly just have to try it. Words are not doing enough here.
