Dr. Pamela DeSilva is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Obesity Medicine serving the greater Antelope Valley since early 1990's where she has had long-lasting relationships with many organizations and institutions within the community. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, Royal College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Obesity Medicine Association, American Academy Aesthetic Medicine, and Civil Aviation Medical Association. She attended Colombo Medical School in Sri Lanka, her country of origin, earning a degree in Medicine and Surgery with honors. She did her residency training in both Internal Medicine and General Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. While on the East Coast, after residency, she worked in the Emergency Department at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood New Jersey. After moving to California in 1995, Dr. DeSilva established DeSilva Medical Inc., her current private practice for Internal Medicine in the Antelope Valley. She also has professional training in the various fields of Aesthetic Medicine, taught personally by Dr. Zein Obagi, The Concepts of Skin Health Care, is certified with Arque Derma, The Artistic Restoration Lift. Dr. DeSilva also has extensive training in Medical Weight Loss. In 2009, she started the Bariatrics branch of her practice. In the past twenty years or so, Dr. DeSilva has served thousands of residents of the greater Antelope Valley community for Family Care, Internal Medicine, Aesthetic Medicine, Medical Weight Loss, Aviation Medicine and continues to accept new patients. Dr. DeSilva and her husband of over 30 years are the proud parents of three daughters. Outside of medicine and community services, her interests include traveling, theater, art and interior design.

Our Story

Pamela De Silva, MD has been practicing Internal Medicine in the Antelope Valley since 1990 and established her practice, De Silva Medical, in 1995. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and General Surgery at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is an American College of Physicians Fellow and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She has also been practicing aesthetic medicine for 15 years with extensive training. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, Royal College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Obesity Medicine Association, American Academy Aesthetic Medicine, and Civil Aviation Medical Association.
