The town of Palmer Lake has experienced a deeply divisive period in 2025 surrounding major development decisions, most notably the proposed Buc-ee’s project. What began as a governance issue led to community division, resignations, and real emotional and financial impacts on those who served the town.

Amid the controversy, town employees—especially those in compliance and enforcement roles—faced intense pressure. As tensions escalated, some, including Jenn and Jeremie, lost their jobs during an already painful time. Regardless of differing views, no one deserves to be left without support after serving their community in good faith.

This effort is not about taking sides, but about showing compassion and doing what’s right. We are asking our community to come together in kindness and consider donating to the GoFundMe supporting Jenn and Jeremie.

Jeremie dedicated 25 years of service to Palmer Lake, and both he and Jenn served with integrity and heart. Your support helps provide stability, relief, and a reminder that they are not alone. Supporting each other is how communities heal.
