Do you have seeds from past years and want to know if they will grow this year? You can do a wet paper towel germination test to help you determine if your seeds are still viable.
We have some sunflower seeds from 2023 that we wanted to check for viability. The process was quick and easy. To learn how, check out the UAF Cooperative Extension Service publication “Procedures for the Wet Paper Towel Germination Test”. Check it out here: https://www.uaf.edu/ces/publications/database/gardening/procedures-wet-towel-germ.php 🌻
