After graduating from the Alabama School for the Blind and attending college, Juwan Williams realized the desk job careers his teachers had suggested were not for him.

28-year-old Juwan Williams, owner of Tru Vision Wrestling in Madison, started losing his vision at age 14. Williams' deteriorating sight was caused by a rare genetic condition called Leber's Hereditary

En-Vision America joined with the Southwest Florida Council of the Blind in Fort Myers, FL, today to celebrate White Cane Safety Day!! 👩‍🦯‍➡️🦯🧑‍🦯‍➡️The white cane is a tool of independence for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. The white cane is used by them to navigate around cities and stores. If you see a pedestrian walking with one across the street — yield — They can't see you!! A shout out to everyone raising awareness today!!!

Celebrating its 35th year, Space Camp for Interested Visually Impaired Students (SCIVIS) just hosted another ambitious group of students from throughout the world for Space Camp at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Pretty cool, huh?

The U.S. Space and Rocket Center is hosting over 100 visually impaired students from 6 different countries this week.
