🏡 Exciting News from Londonderry Village!

We’re thrilled to announce the second phase of our Fox Run development, expanding one of the most sought-after neighborhoods on campus.

This new phase will introduce six beautifully designed single-family homes and six modern townhomes, offering a variety of living options to match different lifestyles. Each home will feature thoughtful layouts, attractive finishes, and energy-efficient design, all within the welcoming and vibrant Fox Run neighborhood.

The first phase of Fox Run received incredible interest, and we’re excited to continue building on that momentum by creating even more opportunities for individuals and families to enjoy the comfort, convenience, and community that make Londonderry Village so special.

Construction is expected to begin Fall 2026, with additional details about floor plans, pricing, and availability coming soon.

Days like today remind us just how special our campus is. ☀️ With sunshine, a gentle breeze, and residents enjoying time outdoors, we’re especially grateful for the improvements that help make moments like this even better.

Earlier this year, the Londonderry Village Auxiliary presented two generous gifts during their quarterly membership meeting, donating $15,000 toward campus sidewalk improvements and $5,000 toward the purchase of a new GEM vehicle. (make sure to check out the tracker on our website 😉 https://www.londonderryvillage.org/wish-list/ )

These contributions help ensure safe, accessible pathways for residents, team members, and guests while also supporting transportation across our vibrant community. It’s through the Auxiliary’s continued volunteerism, events, and fundraising that projects like these become possible.

We are incredibly thankful for their dedication and generosity. Their support continues to enrich daily life at Londonderry Village and helps make our beautiful campus even more enjoyable for everyone.

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and the many women who help make the Londonderry Village community so special. 💜

The women featured here serve in leadership and department head roles across our campus. Through their dedication, professionalism, and care for others, they help guide our teams and support the mission of Londonderry Village each day. Their leadership, experience, and commitment play an important role in creating a community where residents and staff can thrive.

At the same time, we recognize that the strength of Londonderry Village comes from all of the women who are part of this community — the residents who have lived remarkable lives and continue to share their wisdom, the staff members who provide compassionate care and service, and the volunteers and family members who support our residents in countless ways.

Across generations, the women of Londonderry Village inspire us through their kindness, resilience, leadership, and dedication to others. Today is a wonderful opportunity to recognize and thank them for the many ways they contribute to the spirit of our community.

Daylight Saving Time begins March 8, which means it’s time to move your clocks forward one hour before heading to bed. While we lose an hour of sleep, we gain longer, brighter evenings ahead — a welcome sign that spring is on the way! 🌷

Take a moment this weekend to adjust your clocks, watches, and any appliances that don’t update automatically.

📅 A February Recap Filled with Love, Laughter, and Community! ❤️

Our monthly LV Quiz Game Show kept everyone on the edge of their seats as the Women’s Bible Study faced off against the Men’s Bible Study. The score stayed incredibly close all hour long — and in a thrilling finish, both teams answered the final question correctly! It all came down to their wager… and the Women clinched the win by betting it all! 🎉 The audience erupted in laughter.

Residents also enjoyed fun “commercial breaks,” including the hilarious Valentine Comedy skit by our Village Players. Mr. Suave handed out valentines to every lady because he couldn’t choose just one — until Cupid swooped in (fashionably dressed from the Village Boutique) to spread a little extra love. 💘

We closed out the month with our heartwarming Valentine Social, complete with a delicious tiramisu dessert crafted by Dining Services, beautifully packaged iced cookies, and table games that sparked joy and connection. The night wrapped up with an incredible performance by , whose harmonies filled the room with energy and elegance.

At Londonderry Village, we believe caring for elders living with dementia is a responsibility shared by our entire community — not just one department. By investing in specialized education and hands-on training, our team is strengthening their skills in communication, understanding behaviors, and creating meaningful moments of connection.

This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to providing the highest-quality, compassionate care to those we serve. We’re honored to walk alongside our residents and families every day — and incredibly proud of our staff for continuing to grow, learn, and lead in dementia care excellence. 💛
