Childhood Autism Treatment Team (CHATT) in Palmyra WI, is seeking Autism Behavioral Treatment Technicians. Behavior techs work with a therapy team, under the supervision of a team lead senior behavior therapist, implementing in-home programs of one-on-one ABA (applied behavioral analysis) treatment with children on the autism spectrum (age range from 2-12 years). Goals focus on behavioral, social, and academic support. Expectations vary based on the functioning & abilities of each child: some need more support with daily functions and some need more socially-oriented training.
This is a very flexible position, an ideal job for college students interested in working with children or in mental health/social work.
Position Overview
Title: Behavior Treatment Technician
Region: (SE Wisconsin): behavior techs needed in Walworth and Waukesha Counties (Eagle, Mukwonago, and Lake Geneva areas)
Hours: Part-Time, flexible schedule, but may require some late-afternoon/evenings
Responsibilities
Provide in-home ABA therapy treatment to children
Implement programs and behavioral goals overseen by the licensed supervisor
Document results in daily treatment notes
Qualifications
One year of college preferred; high school diploma necessary
Driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
This position requires up to 40 training hours depending on previous ABA experience and education. Any necessary training hours are reimbursed at minimum wage
Benefits include 401K with 100% employer match up to 5% after 1 yr
