🔥 Three Days. One Mission. Serving Those Who Served. 🇺🇸

The 2025 Stand Down brought together Veterans, families, and more than 80 VA Palo Alto staff to provide compassionate, comprehensive support, from 🏥 health care and 🏠 housing to ⚖️ legal aid, 🧠 mental health services, and more.

Special thanks to the Santa Clara County Veterans Service Office for hosting this powerful event and creating a welcoming space filled with warm meals, free haircuts, and a strong sense of community 🤝.

To every staff member who showed up with heart ❤️, thank you for going above and beyond to serve those who’ve served 🎖️.

📣 To our Veterans, this event may be over, but your access to care is not. You’ve earned these benefits, please continue to reach out. We’re here for you, always. 🙌

Have you ever found yourself unable to make a doctor’s appointment?

We have all been there, we accidentally double-book ourselves, work issues and family emergencies come up… life happens! We understand. So if you need to cancel, just give your provider a heads-up.

Doing so helps another Veteran get care even sooner, instead of your appointment going unused, your healthcare facility can offer that time to another Veteran.
