From hive to jar! 🐝

VA Palo Alto’s Beekeeping Pilot Program, led by Rebecca Lesnik with Recreation Therapy Service, is an ongoing initiative exploring how active participation and grounding techniques in beekeeping can help improve distress tolerance, the ability to manage emotional incidents without feeling overwhelmed.

Veterans have bottled their own honey and designed labels honoring every military branch, showcasing creativity and teamwork.

🌶️ A Spicy Win at VA Palo Alto’s Annual Country Store!🌶️

Veterans, family members, and staff enjoyed a flavorful twist during our Annual Country Store with the first-ever Chili Cook-Off! After some delicious taste testing, Russell Sanchez from our Path and Lab team claimed the top spot as the chili champion.
