I am using a "Kess" brand 26" hula hoop with nothing inside it
from Walmart.
I do NOT recommend hoops that have water, beads or a light system in them. "Breaks" are meant for quick transitions from 1 skill to another.

Hand Spins To Wrist Spins
It takes Posture & Balance 😃

POSTURE:
Arm & Hand need to be level...
If your arm goes up or you break your wrist going up too high, hoop will fall towards you

If your arm points down or you break your wrist to point down, your hoop will fall to the ground.

BALANCE:
Up & Down Motion needs to even

If you speed up your motion, you will loose control.

If you stop your motion, the hoop will hang on your wrist.

Remember, it's the power of the thumb....👍
Down allows hoop to wrist
Up w/slight decrease in elbow gets it back to the hand ✋️

A Hoop Session About Patterns, Pathways & Cues for 🧠 power!

I had NO idea my phone was filming for about 17 minutes of this session. My clicker never clicked it off 🤭

I invited T & a Mother - Daughter from my Parkinson's Hoop Class to play in the park. 🫂

There is power in "playtime" & even greater power using patterns in "playtime"...
For ALL 🧠

It significantly helps the Parkinson's brain form new neural connections & it helps repairs damaged pathways through neuroplasticity 😃
