The Beginning

I guess I have always had this dream of being a philanthropist. I just never imagined I would actually become one. - - - - - - - I remember as a young teen having plans of opening up homeless shelters when I grew up. My plans were always very extensive, involving all those using the shelter to be participating in it as well. I was very aware that a concept like this would be a lot work and a lot of capital. I don’t recall ever having shared my idea. I always assumed I would have to make millions before ever being able to help others.

As time went on I graduated high school, then college, continually getting absorbed into the rat race that generally makes society. Eventually, I all but forgot about these plans. Along the way, I decided the rat race wasn’t right for me. I pulled myself out of my corporate job and focused my energy on maintaining my health. Interestingly enough, my life began to flourish in ways I never thought possible. I became more mindful about the choices I made and how they would effect my health and the health of others around me.

Today, my vision of helping others is different than it was as a young teen. My goal for Living Healthy. Simplified. is for all citizens to be able to have a place where they learn about their health, the health of others, and the health of the environment through a hands on sensory approach.

I am excited about the beginning of this new adventure and would love for you to join us!
