Please use the Florida Panhandle COPD website to freely connect with people in the area in the discussion of COPD. The Florida Panhandle COPD page does not serve to diagnose or treat COPD. The information contained here is not intended to replace the services of trained health professionals. This site is not to serve as medical advice but as a support group for people in the community. Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) acknowledges that people with COPD are at higher risk of developing severe illness from COVID-19. Other chronic lung diseases, such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and cystic fibrosis, may also increase your risk of severe illness from COVID-19.

What is the best, CDC and WHO supported tactics to survive these though times?

-Make sure that you have at least a 30-day supply of your medicines.
-Avoid triggers that make your symptoms worse.
-Call your healthcare provider if you have concerns about your condition or feel sick.

Comment if you have any questions!
