Born and raised in Seattle, Jason began his journey in healthcare by studying bioengineering at the University of Washington. His passion for medicine was ignited while working at a shelter and hospice care for unhoused individuals living with HIV. This experience deeply influenced his decision to pursue a career in medicine, leading him to the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. At UCLA, he became actively involved in street psychiatry research and outreach to inner city high schoolers.
His immigrant background, combined with these formative experiences, has fueled his dedication to the local LA community, health equity, and providing care for underserved populations. In his free time, Jason enjoys watching A24 movies, exploring multicultural foods in Los Angeles and around the world, and attending music festivals.
📍 We’re proud to have Dr. Lee as part of our residency team, working to improve mental health care in our community.
