Vintage Park at Paola is an assisted living community that offers residents a comfortable atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. We provide gracious worry-free living in a supportive environment. We offer a variety of apartments styles equipped with a small kitchenette, huge walk-in closet, and a private bath with walk-in shower which offers each resident a choice that fits their lifestyle. Each suite is equipped with an apartment size refrigerator, microwave oven, and individual heat and air controls. In addition to this, we have a wonderful activity program that provides opportunities for socialization as well as gratification from doing something you enjoy. Vintage Park at Paola has won two National Quality Awards and strives to be deficiency free. We take time every day to make sure they are happy and comfortable and our goal is to provide an environment that is homey while meeting their care needs. Whether you choose our Garden view or one of our main level suites; we know you won’t be disappointed. Along with the additional suites, residents have several areas they can choose to enjoy the beautiful grounds; either the large walk out patio in the back, the courtyard or even watch the comings and goings from the front porch. Other amenities like a large meeting room for parties and events, a therapeutic spa, and front parlor with fireplace will make this a perfect place to call home.

Our Hospitality Champion is observing National Brownie Day today. Everyone appreciated the opportunity to indulge in a brownie. Most individuals expressed that it is impossible to decline a brownie. We also distributed some to the Paola Senior Center, where they were met with equal enthusiasm. Thank you to our dietary staff for preparing a variety of brownies and brownie balls, which were thoroughly enjoyed.

Today our community was treated to the sweetest surprise — the Block Youth Group stopped by to sing Christmas carols for our residents! 🎶❤️
Their joyful voices, big smiles, and generous hearts brought so much warmth to our halls. You could see the memories and happiness light up on every face. Moments like these remind us how special it is when generations come together.
A huge thank you to the wonderful kids and leaders of the Block Youth Group for sharing the spirit of the season with us. You made our day truly magical! ❄️🌟

Tonight we took a cozy bus ride around town to look at all the beautiful Christmas lights — and it was absolutely heartwarming. ❤️
The residents were smiling, pointing out their favorite displays, and sharing stories of holidays from years past. There’s something so special about seeing the world through their eyes — every twinkling light felt a little brighter, every decorated house a little more magical. 🎄✨
Moments like these remind us how important it is to slow down, enjoy simple joys, and make memories together. Grateful for such a lovely evening filled with laughter, wonder, and holiday spirit. 💖

We had such a wonderful time today at Lighthouse Church for their monthly Lighthouse Luncheon! Our residents enjoyed a delicious meal, great company, and a very special performance from the CCA kids. Their music filled the room with so much joy and holiday spirit! 🎶

To make the day even sweeter, we were surprised with Christmas stockings- such a thoughtful and heartwarming gift. 🎄 🧦 💛

Yesterday’s Thanksgiving was truly something special, and looking back at the photos fills our hearts. What you see these pictures isn’t just a holiday meal- it’s moments in between. The smiles that came a little easier, the conversations that lingered a little longer, and the feeling of togetherness that wrapped around the room like a warm blanket. For many of our residents, holidays can be bittersweet, but yesterday felt full…full of love, memories, and the comfort of being together in our community. Thank you to the staff who made everything beautiful, the families who showed up with open hearts, and the residents who shared stories that reminded us what gratitude truly means. Every plate filled and every hand held made the day brighter. As we settle back into everyday routine, we are carrying the warmth of yesterday with us.

Today we were fortunate to have the opportunity to celebrate Native American culture by creating traditional-inspired spin drums together. 🥁 Our residents enjoyed gaining insight into the importance of spin drums and their function in many Native communities for storytelling, ceremonies, and connection. With plenty of creativity, everyone created a drum that reflected their own unique style. It was a wonderful time spent together.
