We are beyond excited to announce that Mine That Bird, the legendary 2009 Kentucky Derby Champion, will be coming to EquiFest of Kansas 2026!

Winter time is around the corner! Get your variegated spider plants purchased now only five dollars a start.

They grow quickly and shoot off more starts. You can easily propagate. These are great to have in your home to help clean the air.

I mixed up some 2-1 sugar water for the bees that were flying around looking for something to eat my Rosa Sharon are done and I think they liked their plates of sugar water and I put some in an old birdbath also wow did they bring friends!!

Today was a beautiful day!

I dug 4 holes, busted up the good looking soil, water added in each spot, then planted my first Red Aronia Berry bushes.

After I got the soil pushed down around each bush I ļæ¼Topped them off with more water. šŸ’¦ This will close up any air spaces. I added the cages so we can easily see they are not Weeds šŸ˜‚!

We sure could use a good rain here as we are quite dry.

I learned anout Aronia berries after eatimg some delious bread made by Becky Thorpe that had these berries included.

My understanding is Aronia berries are more nutrious than elderberriesļæ¼! Iā€™m anxious to get a sack from Becky and make some tincture out of her beautiful berries.

I make tincture out of dandelions and elderberries now. I feel they work real well with my journey back to health.
