We’re delighted to share a heartwarming act of generosity from retired teacher Nancy. To celebrate her recent birthday in a meaningful way, Nancy gifted book bundles to our newborn families at Paoli Hospital.

These special bundles are being given to babies who share Nancy’s birthday and are filled with brand-new copies of her favorite children’s books!

Congratulations to Paoli Hospital and Riddle Hospital for being recognized as high performing by U.S. News & World Report in its annual Best Hospital for Maternity Care list. Riddle Hospital has been recognized for four consecutive years while Paoli Hospital received this designation for its third straight year.

U.S. News & World Report issues its Best Hospitals for Maternity Care rankings to help expectant mothers and families make informed choices, in consultation with their doctors, about where to have a baby after an uncomplicated pregnancy.

Hospitals rated “Best” for Maternity Care by U.S. News are more likely to have taken important steps to support breastfeeding, have lower C-section rates and lower severe unexpected newborn complication rates.

Paoli Hospital earned the Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Program Certification from The Joint Commission — a national recognition for hospitals that can perform a lifesaving procedure to remove blood clots from the brain during the critical hours after a stroke.

This minimally invasive treatment can dramatically improve recovery and, in many cases, even reverse the effects of a stroke. Our team is proud to be at the forefront of advanced stroke care, giving patients the best chance at a full recovery.

Main Line Health recently welcomed U.S. Representative Chrissy Houlahan to Paoli Hospital for a tour of its Emergency Department and to discuss current healthcare issues.

Thank you to Representative Houlahan for her work around Medicare and Medicaid to help older adults and families receive the care they need.

Paoli Hospital recently welcomed a new resource to support the emotional well-being of its staff: Crisis Response Canines (CRC).

Through the generosity of Paoli Hospital's donors, this support resource is now available to all team members to help with their psychological and physiological needs during times of intense stress or traumatic events.

Paoli Hospital is proud to bring this unique and supportive program to impactful situations across our campus and believe it will be a powerful tool for supporting our dedicated team.

Stephanie Haley is an amazing advocate for organ donation at Paoli Hospital. Stephanie makes sure her team is aware of how organ donation saves lives, and collaborates closely with Gift of Life to support organ donor patients who come through the cardiac catheterization lab.

She actively supports National Donate Life Month during the month of April and has served as the HAP lead at Paoli Hospital for many years. She single-handedly makes sure that organ and tissue donation are top of mind during April by organizing in-services throughout the month, putting up yard signs all over the campus, and scheduling tabling events for Blue and Green Day.

Each year, she leads the Main Line Health team at the Donor Dash. Additionally, her family participates in the Donor Dash to honor her dad, a liver transplant recipient who recently celebrated 10 years since his transplant. Stephanie is passionate about donation and is an amazing advocate in both her personal and professional life.
