Please join us in congratulating Brett Freedman, MD, on his election as the new AO Spine North America Fellowship Committee Chair.

Dr. Freedman, Chair of the Spine Surgery Division at the Mayo Clinic, is a nationally recognized leader in spine surgery and a retired Army colonel. In this role, he will focus on reinforcing the benefits of fellowship beyond the traditional one-year training period.
