Since the August 2020 merger of Learning Services and ReMed our teams have worked hard to bring our organizations together, implementing best practices and making our organization stronger and smarter. For 35 years, our programs have been the recognized expert for treating highly complex, post-acute neurorehabilitation and neurobehavioral cases. These years of experience have taught us that collaboration, communication and partnering are pivotal to success.

The holiday spirit was in full swing at Learning Services in Riverton, Utah! Our clients tapped into their creativity through a variety of therapeutic art projects, from painting festive reindeer on canvases to crafting handmade ornaments. These activities are more than just holiday fun—they are essential for fine motor skill development, sensory integration, and providing a meaningful outlet for self-expression.

The clients at the ReMed of Maryland participated in the Brain Injury Association of Maryland TBI Scarecrow Classic 5K and 1 Mile Walk which brings the common goal of raising awareness about brain injury within the community and providing much needed funding to support the programs and initiatives of BIAMD.

Holiday cheer was in full swing at ReMed of Maryland! Our Columbia team and clients celebrated the season with a day full of dancing, festive crossword puzzles, and a spread of delicious food.

A client from Collage Home & Community Rehabilitation Partners in Houston, Texas, is proving that resilience and the right support can change everything. After experiencing a stroke in August 2024 that significantly impacted her mobility, speech, and coordination, she felt discouraged by her initial experiences with inpatient rehab. However, since beginning her journey with our team in August 2025, she has found a community that truly sees her as an individual.

While she describes herself as a homebody, she has worked incredibly hard with her therapists to step outside her comfort zone. From visiting Home Depot to start an herb garden to using her speech strategies to confidently order a meal at her favorite local vegan restaurant, she is reclaiming the hobbies and activities that bring her joy. We are so proud of the bravery she shows every day, and here she is now, finding peace and purpose as she adds decorations to her tree.

This activity is a powerful tool for neurorehabilitation, helping clients refine fine motor skills and improve hand-eye coordination in a relaxing, creative environment. We love seeing this kind of engagement!
