Posted • In New Jersey, the school mask mandate will end March 7, Gov. Phil Murphy said Monday. In Delaware, the indoor mask mandate will end this Friday, Feb. 11 at 11:59 p.m., Gov. John Carney said later on Monday.
Carney added that the state's school mask mandate will expire March 31.
Those two big developments follow already eased masking rules in Pennsylvania, where statewide school masking went optional after a lawsuit in December.
The one place in the greater Philadelphia region where indoor masking has yet to get an end date is in the city of Philadelphia. A city health department spokesman told NBC10 on Monday that the city's school mask mandate, as well as requirements for masks at all indoor public space and proof of vaccination for inside dining will remain in place for the time being.
