I like a lot of what this has to say. The only thing that I think I’d add is that compatibility between these desires seems essential in healthy relationships.

Adding something new to the work I can offer clients by working on my hypnosis certification. This is my second weekend and will be offering hypnosis sessions as of next week. Pictured with my friend Healings by Elizabeth Myers who is taking the training with me ❤️

Yesterday morning I was drowning in a bit of guilt and shame for having wanted SO much to do something amazing for the kids for Easter (think epic egg hunts, baskets, etc) and yet instead we spent the prior day ‘playing’ so it wasn’t done as ‘extra’ as I wanted. I due to my guilt I wanted to over buy more things.

This is where having a husband who is newer to my ‘extra’ comes in very handy. When I voiced this to him he reminded me that the only people whose opinion on Easter mattered to us that day were the 8 children in our house that morning. So I went and asked each one what was important to them. Turns out much simpler than what I had originally wanted to plan.

So. Pivoted. Executed. Done.

Everyone at our house had a great holiday and my checking account feels much happier having not impulse bought the toy aisle at target to make myself feel like a good mom.
