Doctors Note:

A recent study published by the American dental association showed the negative effects that stress can have on our teeth and jaw joints. The stresses of the past couple of years have increased the prevalence of teeth grinding and clenching by 71%! Clenching and grinding can lead to cracked and/or chipped teeth, and painful jaw joints. If caught early enough these symptoms can be treated and tooth loss or permanent damage to the jaw joints can be prevented.

If you are concerned that you may be clenching or grinding, please let us know so we can assess your specific needs. These are stressful times we are in. Don't let your mouth add to the stress.

I can play the piano upside down.

Kim has been a dental assistant at Your Family Dentist for the past 9 years. She has an incredible work ethic and truly cares for her patients. This is evident in her ability to bring a smile to even the most nervous of patients faces. Kim has a comforting and kind personality that we have all benefited from. Just look at that smile! On this Labor Day we recognize our wonderful staff and the daily sacrifices they make for our patients. Their hard work and passion are evident in the smiling faces of those who trust us with their dental care. We are grateful for each of them and what they bring to our practice. April 4th-10th marked Dental Hygienists’ recognition week! At Your Family Dentist, we are lucky to have 4 highly educated, professional and caring hygienists. Hawley Orthodontics is teaming up with local dental offices for our annual collaborative holiday food drive benefiting the Open Door Mission!

Working together, our goal is to help provide some much-needed help to members of our community this Thanksgiving.❤️

Please join us by donating at our office, or any of the participating offices. Their most needed items include canned vegetables, canned fruit, cereal, pasta/pasta sauce, soup, mac ‘n’ cheese and boxed meals (e.g Hamburger Helper).

We are accepting donations from November 2nd - November 16th!

AND if we can fill Dr. Hawley’s entire truck, we get to pie him in the face on November 18th! Goals! 🥧💪🤩
